Founded in 1970, the National Association of Trial Lawyer Executives (NATLE) serves all state and regional trial lawyer associations in the U.S., Canada, England and Australia. Individual members of NATLE’s state and regional trial lawyer associations are primarily small business owners of their own law firm - - as opposed to being part of in-house counsel. Primarily plaintiff lawyers, NATLE members are extremely affluent and serve as the primary decision maker for a host of products and services to support their own law firm.
NATLE itself works to protect the civil justice system by providing each state or regional trial lawyer association - - chief executive officers and their key staff - - with critical resources such as: governmental and public affairs, PAC development, continuing legal education, Internet services, affinity programs, effective boards, leadership training, and much more. NATLE works closely with the American Association for Justice (AAJ), formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, to ensure a productive and efficient relationship between AAJ and NATLE member associations.
